The systems I'm putting in place for my own business

Hey Reader,

One of the reasons I love what I do is the variety in my client projects. Last week, one day I was deep in code launching a rebrand, which meant getting a new website, domain, email setup and SEO all sorted. The next two days I was in Figma, designing fun, colourful assets for a global wellness brand's new product launch.

In between all that, I shared a bit of my own story on Instagram. How my blog hit a million readers, then very nearly burned itself out because I had no system in place. You can read it here if you missed it.

It taught me the importance of getting the foundations right, something I'm very focused on now.

That means creating a website that gets Google sending clients your way. Blog content that keeps working months after you've published it. Email set up properly so it's building trust in the background. A content system that doesn't rely on inspiration turning up on cue. And repeatable processes for the boring but essential stuff, so you don't have to reinvent the wheel for every new client, offer or project.

I'm intentionally building my business differently this time. It's a lot of behind the scenes work, it's slow process and most of it isn't glamorous. But it's important to get it in place, done now, perfect later, because otherwise it sits on your to-do list forever.

I'd love to share more of this as I go, the setups, decisions and probably a few things I change my mind on. Would that be useful to you? Reply and let me know what you'd specifically like insights on.
